Lochside Apartment Guest Book

We stayed at the house and the apartment together with a group, and it was absolutely perfect for what we wanted. Everyone said how lovely it was. Kitchens in both properties were super. Lounge areas and bedrooms and bathrooms also. Especially enjoyed the log fire in the lounge of the house. The lounge in the house is massive and more than enough space for the 9 of us. Beautiful location and the Pier cafe next door perfect and fantastic food. Angela was flexible with arrival and leaving times when i asked and resposive to questions I asked. Would love to return.

This was a gorgeous stay in a lovely, tranquil location - Angela was kind & helpful & responsive, and all instructions were clear and easy. So many beautiful views out the plentiful windows, & perfect for our cozy little group getaway - thanks so much!

We loved the modern concept of the apartment especially in the common area, the attic. The wifi was working great at the common area but can be a bit slow in some areas. Spacious and clean toilets. Well equipped with functioning appliances that we needed throughout our stay. The best thing is the view from the two rooms facing the loch especially in the mornings. Such a plus to have our rooms on the highest floor to enjoy it. Thank you so much for the comfortable stay!

This should have been a 5* review. The location is magnificent - could not be better placed. Amazing views from every window. Beautiful walks right from the door. A cafe serving a great breakfast on the pier minutes from the accommodation. All very recently renovated, well decorated and fabulous bathrooms with great showers. Angela's communication was great throughout the lead up to the holiday but she went suddenly quiet when I notified her of a problem with the heating - on the first morning. The issue meant that the heating could only be switched on and off manually and during the night a loud sound of running water came from the boiler in the master bedroom - like the system was filling up?? I received no response to my message and the situation remained throughout our stay. On leaving I left another message expressing my disappointment. I still have not heard anything from Angela. I can only imagine that there is something preventing her response as she was very helpful pre-arrival - I hope its nothing too serious. One point to note is that there are 6 flights of stairs to reach the top (it's worth it). In summary - If you are looking to book this property (and I would again), you should check that the heating has been fixed.

Absolutely brilliant location, apartment is right beside the lake with gorgeous views outside of most windows. Kitchen is well equipped, especially helpful with the dishwasher. Board games are available for night timer entertainment also. Bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. Bathrooms are nice and tidy. Internet connection is good for the location at the living room and kitchen. However in the bedrooms it cuts out from time to time. However who needs internet when you have those views out of the window. Take the time out for a digital detox. Nearest shop is co-op which is around 30min drive away, so I would suggest pick up enough supplies before you arrive. Plenty to do in nearby location. See the waterfall at Inversnaid, bike ride around loch Katrine. Trek to the top of conic hill for impressive views etc.

The flat is superb, the view is amazing, everything confortable, very quiet location (we loved walking to the royal cottage, bathing in loch chon, a boat trip on loch katrine, walks from inversnaid on loch lomond shore, dinner at inversnaid bunk house). Be aware the route from aberfoyle is veeery long, but also veeeery nice :) (make sure to stock up before, and enjoy the road :)).

Wunderschöne Gegend und eine sehr gemütliche Ferienwohnung. Besonders die tiefe Fensterbank, auf der man so schön sitzen und auf den See schauen konnte, hat es uns angetan.

Nous avons passé trois jours reposants, dans un appartement propre, calme et très lumineux, situé au bord d’un lac tout à fait charmant. De belles balades alentour. Les hôtes ont été très réactifs et leurs indications au cours du séjour très utiles.

Amazing place. Stunning location and really nicely set up accommodation at a great price versus many of the other places in the vicinity. Right on the loch, stunning views, everything you need (although we did bring pantry staples which was a good call as there was no oil or salt pepper which can often happen so good to be prepared anyway!). The wifi was mostly unavailable and no phone signal but that was a nice thing for most of us. Will be back!

Quiet, remote location with fab views. Apartment was up flights of stairs as advertised. Apartment was clean and in particular the kitchen area was well equipped and with a very pleasant seating area. Comfortable beds. We certainly plan to revisit.
